​3- Year Old Program - Caterpillars

We offer a full day or 1/2 day program on Monday - Friday for our Caterpillars. A traditional 2 day preschool schedule for our 3 year old children is available.

Children must be 2 years and 9 months old by the beginning of the school year and potty trained.

Our Caterpillars (3's) curriculum is very age appropriate and embraces a sound Early Childhood foundation. Many opportunities abound for fine and gross motor skill development, as well as socialization and problem solving skills.

A typical day for the Caterpillars (3’s) includes: speech and language development, art, music, cognitive group learning in a small setting, story time, and free play.

Children attending a full day schedule will bring their own lunch. We strictly adhere to a nut free policy.
​4-5 Year Old Preschool Program - Butterflies

Our Butterflies (4's) program is offered on Monday - Friday. A 3 to 5 day preschool schedule is available.

The curriculum builds upon the foundation set from the 3’s experience. It continues to address individual needs, and the fostering of a positive and healthy self-image. Further development in the areas of language arts, math, science, art, and music affords many extended learning experiences.

Kindergarten readiness is an integral component of our Butterflies (4’s) program.

Children will bring their own lunch. We strictly adhere to a nut free policy.

After School Care

Enrichment after the classroom! This program is an extension of the child's day to help accommodate the needs of families and children.

Before and After School Care Program will be offered Monday - Friday.

Nap, movement, educational activities and story will be added to their day.

A daily schedule gives children the stability and security they need to have a successful and positive school experience. We strive to provide a consistent schedule that adds structure to your child's day but also leaves plenty of room for flexibility and creativity.
Our school year begins in early September and ends in early June.
We generally follow the Hamden Public School Calendar regarding vacations and holidays.
